Tier 1 Investor

The Tier 1 (Investor) category is for high-net-worth individuals who want to make a substantial financial investment in the UK.

An Investor needs to invest at least £2m in UK Government bonds, share capital or loan capital in active and trading companies. You would be eligible for ILR after 5 years via this route, or even sooner if the investment is at least £5m or £10m.

There is no English language requirement for entry clearance, one of the very few visas.
